Hello.

I am switching over to Aquamax to feed my fish with, and my local coop is going to order it for me. They are wanting to know which kind I want to feed. I figured I would turn here for advice on it.

My pond has - largemouth, bluegill, hybrid bluegill, and Yellow Perch.

Once I see the consensus on here, I will have them order it.

I think what they are asking is what size feed do you want to order? Aquamax is a brandname that comes in 7 different sizes and three specialty feeds for aquaculture and recreational pond use.

That said, the one(s) you want to use depends on what size fish you want to feed. I mix the 5D05 and 5D06 for my pond where the bluegill, yellow perch, and smallmouth run between 8 and 15 inches.

You could use Gamefish Chow made by Purina Miles/Land 0' Lakes which has several sizes mixed together in the bag. There is nothing wrong with it as long as it is a supplemental feed.

I went with the 5D05 (grower 500) as it had one of the highest protein counts. Going to start with a bag to get through falll and then feed with this regularly next year. Everyone says it is good stuff!

That should cover everything from five inches on up.
