When a fish dies after it is let go, does it sink or float?
My bass club lets 100 bass go after a tourney. If mortality is 15%...thats 15 fish I should or shouldnt see?
If I see none can I asume very few died?

No. Sink or float it depends. Sometimes it takes days.
I sure hope its a big lake if you have many events.

My experience is they always float.
