Since it's a little way out, you can probably just let your new boss know that you're going to be tied up some that week and that you'll need to be freed up from any work burdens so you can participate in an international piscatorial undertaking. In fact, you'll need to let her know that you're seeking Foundation funds from the company's charitable arm to ensure that the financial obligations of this undertaking are sufficient met. Let her know we'll be very happy to erect a banner in recognition of the company's sponsorship. (In case you're wondering, I've heard somewhere that Sunil may like beer. Lots of it.
