You advise me to raise the channel? (I hope I understood correctly), really the channel catfish has the same flavor of bullhead, of the same size? Personally i have eaten only the channel cat, so do not know, but they told me that the bullhead is very good...
Bullheads rarely exceed 20-25 cm, in Italy.
However I would not make a professional aquaculture, I just want to have a pond with bullheads as major species, then I can occasionally eat someone "home-made"
but I would say that I will not handle 100 pounds, at most 25-30 ... and possibly with some big goldfish that I have.
