Since I don't see any topics on idiots who let their Alum turn into solid blocks, I guess that makes me the only idiot. So, how does one get solid blocks of alum back into a managable granual form to use?. Five 50lb bags get pretty expensive to throw out.

Just bust them up as best you can. It won't take too much extra time for it to dissolve and it does not hurt it's effectiveness in any way.
