Pond Boss Forums POND CONSTRUCTION Selecting a site New pond in western NY (update 1/19/2011)

JoeG, thanks for the response I'm about 15 minutes north of Olean, ny which isn't too far from the Penn border. It is not gravel ground, pure clay. Where the water WAS I see a smooth thick base. It is still wet..just not water on top. I'm sure in spring I will know more as we get tons of snow here
