Ok gang,
What eats just the tail of BG ? Our ducks when we had them were getting ate, now the last 2 days I have BG turing up without tails.
Could it be a Loch Ness Snapper ? We have a handful of small ( less than a pie plate ) sized Painters but I've never seen a single snapper of any size in the pond.
 1/2 acre 14' Deep. LMB, WE, YP, HBG, BG, Rainbows.

Are the fish alive or dead, and what size are the fish?

Both were dead,
yesterday's was about 8 inches , todays was closer to 6... I guess they figured yesterday's was too big so whatever it was decided something a little smaller today .

  it wasnt killing the fish to my knowledge, but i was getting alot of "tailbiting" when my pond was inhabited by grebes, mergansers, and cormorants. between the ducks and dead fish, sounds more like you have a snapper.
