Being a new member to Pond Boss and fresh water fishes and fishing I find myself scratching my head alot when reading posts. The bevy of ACROMYNS seem to overwhelm me. Some I can flush out such as CC (channel catfish), GSF (green sun fish), BG (blue gill). others I just don't have a glue.

Is there on this site a Glossary for Dummys?

Being born and raised in Southern Louisiana I have always been an inside Saltwater fisherman and done my share of shrimping as a Recreational Sportsman. Now that I have a small pond on my 18 acres I want to knowledgable in my new circle of friends and teachers.
