Sunil, I spread the word whenever I get a chance.I direct them to this website and show off copies of the magazine.I haven't resorted to sending a gift subscription yet, but I do my best. For me, PB has been great! By the way- no floaters again today and we just harvested 21 big bullfrogs this evening.

glad to hear how its working out for you. This might be one of those "benchmark years" - for you and your pond. When you run into similar situations later on, you'll have experience on your side - and you'll know 1st hand what did and didn't work. I have a pond about 1/2 your size - with a very similar make up. (except I have YP instead of GSH).
Not as ot in central NY - I don't run a diffuser. My pond stratifies at times in the summer - and its been warm here too. I don't live at my pond - but I sample it a coupe times per month. I have a few older SMB (16") but haven't seen them in a while - hoping that they are doing OK. Most of my SMB are 8-10" too.

Two days ago, I had SMB in groups of 6-10 fish in a group just sitting around, about 10" below the surface and within inches of each other. Later in the day they were gone.Yesterday evening we recieved just over 3" of rain in about an hour. Needless to say, the erosion around the new house was substantial and now visibility is near zero and 86*.It's not a good feeling when you don't have control over anything.It's near 100* again today.
