I saw Cecil's post elsewhere looking for a picture of a heron and felt compelled to share this with you all. I met this guy (never personally...just online through his photography) on another forum and was always blown away by his work.

He didn't start doing this until 2006, and he died rather suddenly last year. His online gallery is still up, however, and he has some great photos there. Go take a look.

He definitely had a knack for nature. I don't know if someone in his family still monitors his site/emails or not.
