Thanks Ted! I have disconnected the deepest diffuser hose from the compressor and cut back on the shallow ones by releasing air from the disconnected valve.It was actually quite simple to do. I'll also be eliminating the feeding until things improve and just aerate at night.I'll get a new thermometer. Thanks again to everyone for their input. I'll keep you posted.
