I would be happy with just a healthy diverse pond with no great emphasis on tropy size just good fishing. I do not want a pond full of little fish.

My relative size and population structure observations have been during an evening informal feeding program. A loaf of stale bread and a walk around the pond.

Cover, not much. I have cut down some pine trees at the waters edge and let them fall in the water. I also have three groups of a dozen cement blocks that I have placed for cover.

Spawning, I have been looking but have not seen any signs.
