As for as I know the pond was stocked by birds that landed in another water source,came in contact with eggs and transported to my pond. Basic science, just as with bees. I haven't seen any other type of fish other than minnows, there is no other water source feeding my pond.
Sometimes ponds are like women, a small one takes less to manage and more time for pleasure
