Hey thanks Todd. Yeah getting electric to your land is a rather big pain, even if you have it out by the road! At least it was one of the bigger projects I had ever done. Except we went underground so there was a lot more prep work to be done. It's worth it though to go out to your land / pond and have the ability to plug it! I am pretty happy about it!

One of the covenants at our place is that we have to bury all of our utilities, which is fine by me, but it certainly seems to add a layer of effort and expense. No worries, though, as I'd much rather NOT see any of the cables, lines, pipes, etc. while I'm enjoying nature. Can't wait to get the electric in - only about 400 or 500 feet so nothing like your situation was!
