My understanding is that the manure will grow bacteria, and they will eat the bacteria, and the manure as a byproduct. The manure also causes an algae bloom, and they can filter feed on the planktonic algae. Mine might be fed some manure, duckweed, garden scraps, aquamax. I hope to use them like hogs. Convert waste into flesh.
