I assume they are quite strong and I realize it depends on the skill of the fisherman also not to try and jerk it out of the water rather than fighting it slowly to submission...Kevin p.s. just cause I'm from Cali. doesnt mean we have huge bass all over...except for down stream from the nuclear power plant.
