Nice setup, and beautiful clear water you have there.
I wonder about the original Bojo design. The solid shade covers the entire bulb, blocking off most of the light that would attract distant bugs. The swatter wires could be made from 1/32 music wire, and curved upward a little to catch bugs from a wider area.
It just occurred to me that a bare light may bother close neighbors.
