Anybody got 'em? I am thinking about using one to cover an island counter cabinet that contains a cooktop. I know that they can/will scorch from very hot pans and will scratch with a knife, but so will formica and some others. I like the bamboo only because it is closer to a wood finish and the option to buy a slab at $10 per square foot is very attractive. Also, I should be able to cut the slot into the edge to house the down-draft fan unit I want to use. - So.... Who's got experience with it?
