First post for me, but I have been reading alot! This board is amazing!
Thanks to everyone for their insight and input.
I live on a 16 acre lake that is 45+ years old,"Y" shaped,22 ft. at its deepest point, very clear in the summer, good cover along the banks. The lake has LMB, BG, Crappie, Catfish, Warmouth Bream and large Carp in it. Limiting factors are the lake is a impoundment for the city water supply and public fishing from the banks.
The LMB I caught all summer ranged from 8" to almost 2 lbs, the most being in the .75 to 1.00 lbs fish. How can I help the LMB bulk up?
