One word of caution, you may want to have someone inspect the space, if it's possible somehow, to verify you don't have a bunch of bat poop up there. When it dries up, it can turn to a very fine powder that may make its way into your living space. When breathed, it can lead to some very serious health issues. Also, as I posted once some time ago in another thread, bat poop is so full of bacteria and nasty living organisms that, unlike dog poop which is stationary (thank goodness!), it moves! Once again, my profession has helped me to learn something that is otherwise utterly useless! Represented a family once that bought a house infested with literally about a ton of bat poop. Pretty much everyone developed respiratory problems as a result. So, my point is PLEASE make sure you guys are not exposed to anything bad now that the bats are gone!
