Many of you know I've been fighting a leaking pound ever since it was constructed in 2006. I've tried benetonite and blue clay compaction to stop the leak.
It all stared when the excavater broke into a ledge and opened a seam of water into the pond hole. (Thought at the time it was a good thing.) Well, what comes in sometimes goes out. I've back filled the area with blue clay but wasn't able to compact it totaly soild. Almost 4 feet of back fill over the area, that stayed wet.
If it dires out this year I've been thinking I'd open up the ledge again and dump a load of cement or concrete in the area and hope that will solve my problem. Anyone have experience with this as a solution?
