Thanks, The house you see in the pics is actually my neighbors, my house is behind me. I posted the pics for member Andrew Davis, he said he would help me with some plants around the pond to spruce things up a bit.

The pond is about 1/4 acre with a max. depth of 9-10 ft. It's about 3 years old. We dug it at the same time I built my house. It has a pretty steady flow of water flowing in. When we dug the pond we didn't find any springs, but when we dug the house (on the highest part of the property) we found a spring, so we piped that to the pond. Then just in case to help keep the pond full I had the well guy put in an extra well pump with an underground pipe and put it on a timer to run at night. So far I have only needed it in the month of Aug. and about 1hr. each night. I stocked it originally with 75 YP, 75 HBG and 5 Walleye. Then the second year I put in 15 Black Crappie. I didn't realize that could cause problems for the pond, so I had to stock 5 LMB, 5 catfish, 10 walleye. Hope that keeps the crappie in check because that's my favorite fish to catch. The first 2 years I aerated with a linear pump, now I upraded to a 1/3hp gast rotary vane, seems to have made a difference in water clarity.
