I don't have any experience with that myself, jmtjr, and I just did a quick Google search that didn't really offer any help either. While I'm sure someone here can help you with this, I'm wondering if a call to customer service might not be helpful. That is, if you can get through the complex maze of automated menu choices that seem to plague customer service centers these days!
Can you describe the components with more detail? The answer may depend to some extent on how the panel connects to the feeder/battery. It may be something you could mount on a separate post right beside your feeder and then run the cable to the battery box on the feeder. I don't know, but just figured I'd think out loud with you for a second! Hope I haven't made it worse!
