Pond Boss Forums INTRO Questions & Observations pictures of a very secluded older pond

this pond was built in around 1980. i remember fishing it once in about 1983. there were very few trees around it at that time because they had just run a d9 over all the ranch with a 20' wide brush chopper behind him. took him about 3 yrs to do it. a few yrs later the trees were thicker and everywhere which hid all the ponds well. when he seen a good spot to build a pond he would unhook it and build one. never used any pipe on them just a earth spillway and never built a road to them either. other than coonhunting in the winter i never seen this pond again in the daytime until today. they had asked me to build a road to it and check the condition of the pond. the spillway has looked like this for at least 5 yrs now but still holding due to the rocks. i took a picture of it but sure wished i had my pole. i opted to leave it be for now and go check some more ponds while clearing fencelines. there are probably 20 more like this in a 1 mile radius of this pond some of which i have totally rebuilt and some that over 8 acres in size. anyway just thought this pond looked interesting
