That's where I fished for Stripers. A buddy is the one that first started using the 'gills and the planer boards there. I've gotten them to 15#, but that one is a pig! I'm sure there are larger ones in there.

Same problem as fishing in ponds. With the warm water, they'll fight to the death. Release survival rates are poor. My buddy quits fishing after he's caught his limit, even if he releases them because of the poor survival rate.
