I used a couple cinder blocks on each pallet, which seems to do the job nicely. Since our pond has 3-4 ft left to be completely full, I attached cable to each pallet so I can pull them up as the water rises and keep them in that 2-4 zone, which correct me if I'm wrong, is where the FHM prefer to spawn. I want lots of minnows in there for my bass to chow on by next spring!
