Sorry about that - must not have remembered that you mentioned it. Esshup is probably right that it's leftover pellets, so sounds like they were feeding okay. Interesting, though disappointing, mystery. Hope you get it nailed down so you can avoid future problems. Lots of great food for thought floating around for you in this thread so far.
