Okay, this is going pretty well against everything anyone up here has told me (only have the diffusers at mid depth) in order to keep the cooler water down on the bottom....heck, alot of trout guys up here don't even recomend diffusers at all but rather just fountains running at night which the say prevents the turning of the water.
I think next year I am going to change my plans for the pond and just stalk 12" brookies this fall for eating over the winter and spring and then start stalking walley and bluegills
