I'm going to try and over-summer trout in my pond (yeah, I know, it's an iffy proposition in Indiana) by aerating from the bottom in the deepest portion of the pond. I'll run the aerator anytime the air temps are below 70�F, which should be most every night and portions of the mornings.

I haven't searched yet, but I'd really like to find a thermostat that would automatically turn on the aerator at 70� and off at 71� and higher.

If anyone knows how to do it, I'm all ears!
