I have thought of that in the past (chemicals comming down from the other pond) and honestly I am not sure. The beaver pond is still in a wooded area is close to farm fields (my wifes uncle cash crops the fields there and it was well over a month since we fertilized or was even around the fields).
Like I said...I am stumped and I hope like Cecil said...that it will probably go as fast as it came...I am keeping my fingers crossed for that!
