I've starting trying to take care of a family pond. My grandma says the current dam and drain pipe are 30-40 years old. At some point maybe 20 years ago the vertical stand pipe in the pond started leaning. She says my grandpa (now deceased) tried to straighten it but apparently wasn't successful in the long term. It seems pretty stable now. I can't make it move in any direction from the boat. But at it's current angle the pond is maybe a 10 inches or a foot lower than it's supposed to be. Has anyone dealt with this problem before? Is it a good idea to try and make it vertical again or would that risk breaking it? How would you go about making it vertical again?

Here's a video showing the angle of the pipe if you're interested. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hug21ugizF8
