I was riding around at the golf course yesterday looking at the ponds since golf is not interesting to me (family lives at the golf course). I found a really nice looking plant that was not invasive in the ponds amd streams and was contemplating bringing a shovel next time. I have not found the name of the plant but its in the lilly family with medium dark leaves and purple flowers that pop up on top. My question is considering the chemicals used at a golf course. Will there be any issues if i brought this plant to my pond? I would not try this with a fish but i wonder if it would be safe with a plant?
