The first 3 hours were tough, even after a couple hours of sleep! The late night the night before didn't help much either. Here is PB Member wivell's comments about Sunday, May 9, 2010, at my pond: "Sunil, We managed to cull some bullheads yesterday. I think the boys counted them - 32 or thereabouts. Braden caught 2 stripers. One was about 21 inches with huge girth - probably 15" girth. Austin caught the Channel Cat - nearly 20 inches. He has a broken wrist at the moment and decided he didn't want catfish slime on his cast, hence my mugshot with the channel cat. It was cold - 43 degrees. Had a small fire going in the "truck rim" fire pit to keep the boys warm. The pond was as full as I have ever seen it, water a bit cloudy. No bass biting at all. Caught about 10 perch and lots of bluegill as well. Some of the blue gill appeared to have a bit of pumpkinseed in them.
