I don't think I'm dealing with an average pond. It was built in 1952, however, I think the pond is still cabable of being managed through constant observation and help from you all here on PondBoss. I did stock bass in late June, early July. My pond sits low in a large draw that was dammed up, consiquently it is one of the last to loose the ice in this area. I got hit with a cold heavy rain last October that killed several Bass and BG. I have caught around a dozen bass this spring that I thought were in the 10" range. I'm not sure I have the best spawning areas for the bass, as the banks vary very steep and the algea is getting bad along the dam and corners, where spawning might have to occur. Would it be a good idea to notch the tails of bass I catch to see how many I might have?
