Hi Grub, GW is the man and I'm sure he will be along later today. Since you are in Northern CA, what you have might not be BSF, but will still make good fish food. The toilet tank idea sounds interesting - the only concern might be heat build-up. There are photo posting instruction on the main forum menu. Please try to post some pictures. Keep the ideas coming.
