this stuff drives me crazy every spring. It is pretty easy to rake out but that's just a pain in the rear. Will carp or tilapia eat this stuff?

2,4-D,diquat,fluridone,and imazamox are good chemical treatments for bladderwort. Grass carp will work but may take awhile before you see any evidence (7-15/acre).

changing the acidity and nutrient levels of the water can kill it too. carnivorous plants usually thrive in higher acid environments with extremely low calcium and phosphorus levels. bladderwort even lives on land if its wet enough. they get rid of the mosquitos though :P
If at first you don't succeed...look in the trash for the directions.
