Last September I stocked 300 SMB from Rainman in my main pond. I wasn't expecting to see any until midsummer or autumn, but my daughter Violet was able to coax the very first SMB to strike a 1.5" chartruese twister tail on 1/32 oz jighead. I'm a proud Papa!

Nate!!! What's wrong with you!!! Please review Ryan's and George's photos to learn how to properly hold the most sacred fish swimming in North America.

I think the purpose of the smallmouth section is questions and info on how to manage them... This section is for bragging about any fish you caught via photos.
A certain (large amount IMO) of leeway has to be given to where the thread originator decides to place the thread. With more choices now there are often several places a thread could be put. It is easy to place a link at the second place. Moving entire threads mid thread can get very confusing and merging them often is confusing and ineffective for the reader. I know we don't want to be doing wholesale moving of threads. I once lost an entire thread trying to move it. Maybe easier with the changes but care should be used.
TJ, I don't have any stats on that fish as I was not at my pond that day.
We can scold PB member Wivell for not documenting this fish that his son caught.

Sunil...I'm never one to invite myself anywhere...but let's just say a certain someone found themselves stranded with a few cases of Peroni [sp?] and a bootleg Hendrix live at Maui Volcano '68 vinyl in mint condition....might that certain someone be allowed the honor to toss a spinnerbait with the SMB Pond King himself [that's you] for an afternoon?

Well of course! We'll just have to look at the Hendrix vinyl as I don't have a turntable, but we'll rock the ipod for certain.

Those SMB are absolutely beautiful fish. I really like the coloration and patterns on those Ryan Freeze posted. They also seem to put a really nice smile on the anglers holding them. Seeing all that makes me want to build a SMB pond. I think I will!
