A certain (large amount IMO) of leeway has to be given to where the thread originator decides to place the thread. With more choices now there are often several places a thread could be put. It is easy to place a link at the second place. Moving entire threads mid thread can get very confusing and merging them often is confusing and ineffective for the reader. I know we don't want to be doing wholesale moving of threads. I once lost an entire thread trying to move it. Maybe easier with the changes but care should be used. They also seem to put a really nice smile on the anglers holding them. Seeing all that makes me want to build a SMB pond. I think I will!
