No i dont have pictures (dropped my camera in the water). Anyway. I have at least a few hundred (?) minnows in several small groups swimming around today. I am not sure how old they are but i am at the pond every day and this is the first day i have seen them. I noticed in the last week the minnows were acting very skittish, normally they dont run from me at a high rate of speed. They will go a few feet then if i hold still they will come back. Not lately. They see me and they are GONE in a flash! Maybe they were naked? The new fish are only about 3/8 of an inch long. Any guess how many days they have been alive? Ya-hooo! Congrats me amigo - what a feeling that is. I still am very excited whenever I see YOY in my pond - forage fish or BG ect. Get your sampling net in there and find out what is swimming. Be careful NOT to touch any fish that size or they will become morts...just handle them through the net and show us some pics!
Many men go fishing all of their lives without knowing that it is not fish they are after. ~ Henry David Thoreau
