Boomer, remember its your land and as long as you are happy thats what matters. Just remember to come back and study up when/if something happens so you know what not to do next time. Enjoy the kids and the pond! I do with my kids every day and we cant wait till we get fish that are large enough to catch. My daughter wants to be a veternarian, so having her see life in a pond from nothing to full grown fish is real fun for her and myself as well. We love to float with the wind in the boat while quietly watching whats happening under the water. We even do it at night with flashlights.
