GSF almost always have orange and yellow to the edge of their operculum. I don't think I have ever seen a population that doesn't. In very young fish, it may be less obvious and is sometimes white, but as the fish matures it usually turns yellow to a darker orange depending on water chemistry, genetics and sex of the fish.
I am just not seeing anything on the fish that would indicate it is a hybrid and anything but a GSF.
