I had an Aquapro 75 get flooded a few years ago. After cleaning out the mushy feed, I also had to replace a bad top spinning plate's electric motor. It sits inside the feed chute, which caused all the wet fines to ruin it. About a month later, I had to replace the slinger plate's motor, too.
Since then, I put it on a pond shore platform to get it up another 2 feet. 2 years later and no more issues, expect having to up the fuse size from 7.5 to 10, becasue it kept melting the 7.5. AP Cunstomer Service said I could go to 15 on the fuse size, without issues.
I liked the AP 75, so much I bought their Fat Cat that holds 200 pounds of feed. It constantly clogs if I put more than 100 pounds of feed in it. I plan to play with making the feed hole in the bottom smaller this year to see if it helps.
