Last year here in the DFW area There was a craigslist ad that read free portable basketball goal. It had the address and stated It is located beside the house so don't knock on the door and bother us just load it up and take it thanks.
Two guys were surprised when they went to get it and were loading it in the truck the Homeowner came out of the house and saw these guys stealing her sons goal so she promptly dialed 911 and reported a burglary in progress. When the police showed up the 2 guys said they were just responding to a craigslist ad. Turns out that the man (a police officer) who lived across the street had been complaining about the goal to the homeowners association and the lady. He is the one that placed the Ad. He got his in trouble with the law.
