yeah, i think so...but don't they prefer to hatch and rear (sp?) their young in the colder parts of the continent? I thought that was why here in STL they just stay for the winter. But I guess, with the Mississippi, MO & IL all converging, there are plenty of fish to eat.

Who knows, maybe i'm just full of local logic, that happens to be mainly hearsay and mostly wrong.
