Was that the highest that you've seen the pond?
Not even close! We had a 100 year flood here back in the later 1990s before the pond was sealed off from the Rock River. It was almost 8 feet higher then. That is why I designed the dock so it could float straight up (90 degrees from horizontal) without a problem.
