Just off with Dale. He STILL has ponds under ice - says it's the worst winter for him in Brady, NE since he had to miss 6 weeks of school back in the 1940's as he had to walk [uphill both ways?]. Just a little perspective...brutal winters across the US this year.

At any rate, he's seining Gambusia this weekend and is going to report on whether they are netting any shrimp. If not, next week NE should be heating up and the following weekend would likely see the shrimp heading to the shallows and accessible for collection.
