Yesterday�s fishin� adventure busted TP&W private waters HSB fly rod record by 2.5 lbs!!!
Weighed just hair less than 6.75 lbs!!
Beat the Rod and Reel private waters record by 1.5 lbs.
Not into records � except my own � but may submit if the gal hits 8 lbs in a few weeks � I released her fat and happy after sedating with a few drops of clove oil in O2 live well to survive the photos.
HSB were very active on sinking pellet flies in 52.1 near surface water temp.
Fished with a #1 drop shot hook to avoid small CNBG and most caught were in the 9-10 inch range.
The feed trained LMB was a year old 13 inch and 1.5lbs�
Exciting to hook but not land from little pond a 1 year old ~12-14 inch pure Florida LMB on a Stubby pellet fly no less.

Caught 3 skinny HSB out of little pond that I thought I had removed and transferred to main pond. Largest was 3.50lbs but shuld have been a5 pounder � no feeder on little pond for the past year.
LIFE IS GOOD !!!!!
