I looked into raising them a few years ago before I decided to go with YP. The Ohio State Aquaculture folks did some research, which I assume the folks at Inspired.. looked into. Some really good info, but you need Microsoft PowerPoint to view. I think there are free readers available to download. http://www.ag.ohio-state.edu/~prec/aqua/Bowling%20Green%20Workshop/Species%20Selection.pptThe notes say under Tilapia they are not legal to stock, but I'm not sure how old the info is. They are listed on the unrestricted "legal to grow" list for 2010 with a Class A license.
