Bullheads are usully more speckled but it is for sure not a channel or blue cat. The bass do eat 4-5 inch bullheads I promise you. Do you have lots of hiding places, sure the bass made it through the stocking. Maybe the bass have not had time to start to reduce numbers?? Do you have lots of weeds?
Yes trapping would be a good choice.
