I was going to build my dock from boards bought at the local lumberyard. Get some of that nice treated lumber and then watch it twist and bend when it gets outdoors. However, since I turned 50 last fall I have resolved not to try and do everything the hard way. So, yes I would like more info on what you have in mind.
